Hey guys so we put a Dc sport header in my 95 dx. Swap went fine wiring for o2 went fine. Did I miss something? She misfired twice yesterday, do I need to reset ecu? Is. It the cat?

Definitely reset the ecu, did you change the exhaust manifold gasket and donut gasket? Don't have any epic exhaust leaks right? What do you mean wiring for the O2, all you should have had to do is screw it in and plug it in. You didn't drop the O2 sensor or anything right? If resetting doesn't work and not exhaust leak try to borrow an O2 or find one at a junkyard and pocket it since you never know if those things work. All else fails get a cheapo ebay status straight pipe and throw it on so you can see if your cats clogged, if it is you can resell straight pipe after you save up for another cat.

I'm willing to bet its either ecu, exhaust leak, or O2 though if you didn't touch anything else

Ok thx. I will do that on the ecu. Me and the boys from fifth gen plan on doing my valves we think my misfires are from oil in 1,4 cylinder. But wont fully know till we tear into it.

still misfiring

Ok well we have reset ecu and it did not work. My civic still spurters when cold and doesn't stop intil it is fully warmed up then she runs fine with no probs.
so what now to check?
1. Idle rpm
2. Idle fuel, air mix
3. Fuel injector cleaner

We have also found oil in firing areas in cylinder 1 and 4 since putting the header on. We believe I need valve adjustments on those two.any thoughts on this?
We have already done the basics and it has not helped.

Thx guys,
Lance(5THGen)
