Momo Steering Wheel Help

I installed a detachable Momo steering wheel yesterday and i had a question about it. when installing the nut to hold the hub to it to steer i put it on until it was snug (i dont have a torque wrench) and no if feels like i dont have power steering lol..

so im wondering:
did i over torque this and need to back that bolt off a bit

or

did i lose power steering taking off the stock wheel (is that even possible?)

you switched to a smaller diameter steering wheel that makes it a little harder to turn....that may be it

its pretty close to the same size...i think the torque is the problem seeings how i found the torque spec for the wheel nut and its 34ft lbs and i used a 3/4 inch drive and tightened it down pretty tight im sure i can muscle over 34ft lbs lol
