yeppers, the hub is seperate. i actually have a sparco hub off of my Civic for sale, if you are interested. You are aware that this will dis-connect your air bags, and the SRS light will probably be on.

yes i have one on my car..

mine is

steering post > Hub > Quick Release > Steering Wheel

but the quick release is not needed... that is optional

its close.. BUT after i got used to it it felt like thats where it should have been all along.. id actually even not mind it a tad closer.... id rock that tall shifter if it was not such an eye sore

damn dont want it closer to me. I already have short legs so i have to scoot my seat forward..

i believe the splash hub is slim so would put the wheel at normal or even further away distance..
