Motor Question

Ok so apparently the person who had the car before me had the pcv valve connected to nothing. It was just plugged with a cap. He also had that thing thats sitting on the valve cover in hte bottom left of the picture connected to the tube that looks sort of frayed near the middle of the pcv valve. that tube is connected to an oil catch can. The guy at firestone told me to attach the pcv valce to the intake manifold like i did as you can see. My question is..What do i do with that tube that is attatched to the oil catch can?? u sure lol, make sure its the direct link, if u got a PC u can right click the pic and click copy link location then paste it in the bar. Or if its on photobucket or something u can copy the forum link, the one that starts with
