motor swap or supercharger?

aight, i gotta 99 ex...wondering if it is worth my while to perform a front clip swap or get a supercharger on the stock motor. keep in mind, i dont wanna spend more than 2500-3000 for either. if a swap is in order, which motor and why. ive had people tell me to get a b16 or a b18 but what it boils down to is horsepower...i want the most bang for my buck so to speak. i need others advice/experience especially if youve done these swaps. thanks for the info.

Dude drop the SOHC........you can get a B and mods for the money your gonna spend on that S-Charger.....

u can get a b16a on ebay for around 1500 plus it lives u with 1000 u can buy some parts to make it faster superchargers arent really good for high rpm cars so go with b16a u wont regret it

Swap. You'll get more power out of a B.

Swap it, and get a b18c. It'll give you more bang for your buck.. with like 180hp on the jdm motor.. and 170 on the usdm
