motor swap

can i put a cable tranny in a 92 civic hatch is it alot off work. wanting to but a b16 (170hp) but it comes with a cable tranny and i have a hydro. please let me know how hard it is or if it is not.

to put that motor in is gonna have its pains and doing the cable tranny will just be apart of all the fun that is a swap

umm... the 170ps b16a sir II, and the b16a2/3 all have hydro trannys. the only cable tranny b16 is the sir I out of the 88-91 sir/xsi/rsi in japan. the cable to hydro conversion is the least of your worries with a swap like that, converting obd0-obd1 is the main problem. hasport makes a cable-hydro conversion. or just put a hydro tranny on.
