ok, this post is kind of in addition to the sticky on motor swaps.
I've only been on this forum for a couple days now and i've noticed there are alot of posts on motor swaps. I've also noticed that people have alot of wrong information. I've already been through the whole swap thing. I put the B18C1 in my 94 ex. so here's a little info for anybody that's interested.
B18C5 - Integra Type R Engine
200HP, 11.1:1 Compression Ratio
about $5500 for everything need for the complete swap
B18C1 -Interga Gs-R Engine
180HP/126 ft/lbs, 10.6:1 Compression Ratio
about $3100 - $3400 for everything depending on where you buy it.
H22A Type S- Honda Prelude Engine
220Hp 153ft/lbs 11.0 Compression Ratio
about $4600 to $5000 for everything
Note: If you Plan to swap an H22 into a civic the, engine will shift the car's center of gravity and the car will have bad turn handling.
THe best way to find an engine onilne is to look around. prices vary alot, so just check it out, anybody has any specific questions they can pm me.
