Mounting air intake kit

Hey, how easy is it to remove this box and just add an injen air filter kit for a dx european..(ex for you guys). Need any furter modifications?



Btw, not my car..

I want that box away!

shouldn't be that hard to do. and is that red circle thing supposed to be the manifold???

It's not my car, but an early version of the european D13B2, that "red circle thing" is the air intake box...

the "red circle thing" is the air filter cover. That's it. The pic you have basically shows an air filter, on a corrugated tube, into an air filter.

If you want to make a homemade RAM, just replace your airbox with a K&N (or other) filter on the end of some tubing going in to your carbs.. do a search or check out the Technical section... you'll find info on it.

that thing looks mad old school. check out the vacuum advance on the distributor! but i really dont think there is much you can do. just get the carb jetted and leave the box as is, its part of the design
