mounting depth of the rear speakers

i would like to know the mounting depth of the speakers cuz i had a problem already with my door speakers and im way to lazy to check it my self. so if anyone know for a 97 civic dx then please let me know i wanna get the speakers in and down with already

im pretty sure there is no mounting depth for the rear speakers. they just bolt to the rear deck and hang over your trunk space.. as long as you get a 6x9" speaker it should work ok

NM I totally missed that he was talking about the rear speakers. I got hung up on his statement about the door speakers.

Billy is correct though. There is not mounting depth limitation however the seat release bars run near the speakers and may come in contact with the speakers.
