OH s**t NO!
Don't use super glue. It won't work and if you know anybody that it did work for, they are like one out of 10 million people that it didn't work for.
Go buy mirror glue. Permatex if possible. Versachem will work too... Buy a single edge razor scraper too.
Remove the metal pad from the mirror
Clean off every bit of old glue on both the glass and the metal pad with the scraper. If you don't get all the old glue off, it will fail.
Make certain you are mounting the correct side to the mirror mounting tab. You officially suck if mount your s**t backwards
Remove cardboard cover from the little glass ampule. Crush the ampule util the cotton tip is saoked with the blue primer. Prime the metal and glass with the enclosed glass ampule full o'liquid primer
Apply a small drop of the adhesive on the metal mount pad. SMALL AMOUNT or that s**t will run down the inside of your windshield.
Press firmly in place. Do this on a sunny day. The adhisive is photoreactive.
Do not hang your mirror back on until adhesive has cured for 24 hrs. I don't give a s**t what the package says DON'T HANG IT FOR 24 HRS!
I've attached 100s of mirrors and have a low failure rate even years later
