from what i have heard the stock coil is fine up to about 400 hp's and you dont really need one unless ur boosted or have high compression

No difference, Hondas really dont need MSD for anything, it just looks cool under the hood IMO

You'll eat up spark plugs. I change plugs every 3-6k miles. I can't really vouch for anything about the MSD box (I run an SCI+), but I will say the external coil is a much better design for life of the coil (less heat soak) and maintenance sake.

ok well it seems like i wont buy this, but my motor is a high comp motor and i notice a little misfireing.. but im not to certain if its just that the plugs arent gapped properly or what

So, the msd 6al ignition box + blaster 3 coil + cap= no good?

If ur not making the 300, 400hp?

I think I'm on the edge of making 190hp(don't know for sure) on my 00 Si......so you guys are saying that there's no point of buying this? cuz I was about to....... :???:

I think you'll see little to no benefit. Get an external coil and cap. OE replacement coil = $80. Blaster SS coil = $40.

Ok, cuz I was going to pay $150 for the msd ignition box, coil and cap.....and I tought it was a good deal and a good "performance" upgrade for my em1.........guess not.

1 out of 10 cars I tune that have msd usually have problems & end up having to remove the msd components.

Enough said. If you can get away with stock ignition (I have tuned 400+ whp cars on stock ignition) do it.

you won't notice a difference in performance, its like putting on a CAI. you think its faster, but it isn't
