Depends on your prefernce budget and goal.
Kicker subs are loud as hell but dont sound very clean to me so i dont get them, but i know plently of people that swear by them all depends on what you want and have to spend.

If you want to go light, then you're looking at some slim line or infinite baffle (also known as "free air) subs.

i'm not sure about the slim line ones... that bugs me... but they are small. alpine makes some.

but everyone else is right... depends on budget and the sound you're looking for. everyone has an opinion. i run alpine, image dynamics, and zapco products, but those aren't so gentle on the wallet.

infinity, arc audio, focal... i recently heard some soundstreams that were hella nice, too. :what:

CDT makes subs that sound amazing and take up very little space... check them out.

personaly if ur looking at weight and cash id go w/ a single 12 over duel 10s. im rocking a Memphis 12 and it hits harder then i'll ever need. as for speakers im rolling w/ alpines but as logn as you go w/ a well known brand ur safe. Unless you have crazy money to spend.

mmats pro audio is fairly cheap for the quality they are. they run around $150. as for door speakers i would look into components and maybe alpine as a company. problem is, quality speakers are not light and neither are well built boxes
