i own 2 civics a 1994 vx hatch 5spd which runs great and the mileage is quite impressive as well my other is a 98 civic dx hatch auto which i currently cannot drive due to a speedometer issue obd code says vss range a performance, i changed the vss, still not working, i bypassed the blue wire straight to the ecu from the vss, still no change, i then changed the speedo cluster with a known good cluster, still no change, opened the ecu to llok for bad solder joints or burnt areas everything looks fine, but until my speedo is fixed my cars grounded any suggestions or help would be great also behind the cluster to the drivers side there is a box with a red light and wires goin in an out and if u press the throttle just a little the red light flashes wat might this be? again thanks guys
