whats going on guys, im 16 years old and i love my civic! i have literally looked at about every interesting thread on this site and decided since i have memberships to alot of my local forums, might as well have a membership to one about my car!

alright, 2000 honda civic si, lowered a bit and i painted the si rims black, short shifter and intake is all i have right now, soon to be turbo!!!! i just got a new job working as a host at bob evans and im gonna start saving to build a kit to run a little boost on my stock block. trying to make about 250hp, which is easily done with a stock b16.

so my income is abouttttt $150 a week and ill be spending about 50 a week in gas and to screw around with, i think i can get a custom kit for around $700 with cheap parts, im looking for a used turbo manifold and a small garrett turbo. and then a tail wastegate and a cheap intercooler and piping setup

interior is going straight to leather and shes gonna get sprayed heavier flake black if i keep it that long.

does anyone agree that the civic si seats are terrible uncomfortable? mine are bricks..

i love it man! ive had to rip the engine apart twice now due to a burnt exhaust valve, and as soon as i cranked it over it blew the head gasket.

and believe me, by cheap i meant like a used kit with possibly a new turbo. someone told me people sell their used greddy kits for like $800? if so ill do that and replace the turbo..

not to ruin your hopes, but you wont find a reliable kit for $800. thats like ebay kit prices. but good luck

sounds like ur not completely retarded, so u should survive just fine here...

remember the search function and dont be afraid to ask questions.

i think u might find a used turbo and manifold and s**t for relatively cheap, but tial products, even used are expensive. where u r going to spend ur money is tuning the damn thing, and i would recommend not cutting corners there..

i know my way around maintenance and i know how most things performance work, my best friends dad builds old turbo 4 cylinder dodge chargers so i kinda learned off of those ancient sohc turds haha! (well his are pretty quick)
