im a first time user so please dont be too harsh lol..
basically ive got a 2000 honda civic sport 1.5 vtec and im having troubles finding parts that are actually compatible with my car on ebay as i keep getting told 'no this part wont fit the described car'...
im after getting an entire exhaust from manifold back without paying with my arm lol... i cant seem to find many parts to mod with.. also having trouble finding the correct vtec solenoid gasket.. if ive got that right..
that brings me to my next troubles which is when i first bought the car it had a much greater top speed than what it has now.. i think my vtec has stopped working and ive read that the oil pressure needs to be good which i cant really check myself and im a bit stumped..
i hit a bump at about 40mph and jumped my car a bit accidently and thats when it started that i noticed with the power loss.. the car drives fine still except i can notice its slower than when i first got it.. and now its struggles seriously with top speed.. but the car drives fine still.. and infact the temp gauge was going up to about 80% after harsh driving and hitting traffic but since the power loss has occurred the temp gauge NEVER goes past 49%...
this is my first civic and im at my whits end already so would greatly appreciate any advice and help....
