My 92 Civic reverse lights do not turn off

I gor pulled over the other day beacuse my reverse lights do not turn off. I check bulbs, fuses and they seem ok I know there is a relay some where but not sure where it is. I unplugged the wire from transmission and they went off not sure how to fix the problem

that wire one the transmission... ya theres the problem. check out a chilton manual for a back up light switch also...

maybe you should put a switch in the car for em... make your reverse lights come on randomly when your driving, that would freak some people out.

sounds like yesterday when this dude in a small dumptruck was riding my ass, i didnt like it since there was anohter dumptruck in front of me. im doin like 45 and this dude wont let off of me... so i yanked up the ebrake threw up some rubber smoke and scared the s**t out of not only him but myself since my car went sideways right infront of him... all went well...

Sounds like the reverse light switch on the tranny is bad.

lol, sorry man but that's kind of funny, yea man it's wired wrong somewhere along the way to the tranny
