Well i'm building my civic (again lol 3rd time) and i'm putting in a H23 from my prelude. I have some general questions because this is my first H swap. I am also looking all over the net a researching this is just another step lol

The vacuum lines for the H are plenty and do I need them all? Some are run to the driver's side strut mount and on the passengers as well but do those ones have something to do with the ABS or are thy for the engine itself?

The front hub assembly on the prelude able to bolt into place on the civic? I have all new brakes on the prelude not even 5 miles of use so I would like to be able to just bolt them up. Same with the rear can I just take off the hub and fit it to the rear swing arm on the civic or find disc set from a teg? I want to use as many parts from the prelude to the civic as possible anybody with information on what I could swap over would be a great help.Thanks.

Why are you swapping it into the civic? Is there something wrong with the lude?

Ya nothing major but it has a salvage title and I like the ride in my civic over the prelude. If I keep the lude I'm converting it to rwd =)

Does anybody know if I can just swap hubs from the prelude to the civic front and the back?

Prelude is now officially scraped, took out the seat mounts to put in the civic, reason being the prelude seat sits closer to the floor and goes back farther, nicer for a 6'4" guy haha.

Should of cut the floor out of the prelude instead to fit in the civic, save the the trouble of fitting the shifter and linkage in the civic

Here is my civic have owned it for almost 8 years now been on the road for 5 years lol. Have already done alot of replacing over the years bushings all around (energy suspension) had kyb agx with GC coil-overs blew the struts due to drivin it one winter :(

Old pics from last year and over the winter.

The floor looks worse than it actually is, can't put a hole through it with a hammer ;)

Fixed up the drivers side frame

Passenger side wires for head lights and radiator sensor tucked just need placed and finished

Driver's side wiring not finished yet need wrapped n tucked

Gutted the inside

The engine bay got painted when I put in the B16A (5 years ago), will be moving all brake lines to the other side of the firewall and running the engine wires where the heater core used to come out

Problems that need attention before to long

As it sits in my yard right now because I'm stripping my 92 prelude in the garage.

The H23 thats goin in my civic :D

Future plans.....
Powder coating the subframe front control arms, wheel hub assembly, ty-rods, rear swing arms, parts of the engine.

Set of koni yellows
Sway bars
Teg disc brake conversion
h.i.d. Lighting
C.A.I.
List will expand as things get going

Thanks! Hopefully good haha. I've been looking around and researching stuff to do when I came across a thread about H2b i'm very interested in doing this because I do not want cables. What I wanna know that I can't seem to find out does the torque stay the same or not and what mount sets are available I know of two but wondering if there is more and if anyone can suggest a kit
