My '96 Wagon

Alright. I've had the car since the last day of May and didn't really do much to it yet. I'm saving up a fair amount of money to fix the rust, grab a rear lip, and get all lip kit / side mouldings colormatched. Mumsie took it to get the windows tinted over a week ago for my birthday, so that was free to me, and I grabbed a few cans of black and a can or two of primer, so $15 later, I've got my first actual mods done to the car. Now that I know I can open up some lights, I'll grab some of that red s**t from Hobby Lobby or Michael's and red out the tails. It was pretty straight forward baking / opening. I know the wheels are fugly, and there are still little things to touch up, but this is where it is now.

When I got it:

RIGHT MF MEOW:

Weird...this lip is falling off in the same place as the Neon

Feel free to flame. Blacked out > chrome lights and fugly(er) wheels.

Wow i saw the first pic and was ready for something else... Those second set pf pictures look real nice man. Those rims painted black dont look half bad. And the blacked out lights look sick with black hatches. I just picked up a 99 black hatch, im thinking of doing the same thing to my headlights. Keep up the work man looks good.

Thanks man. The headlights are much easier than I thought. There are millions of write-ups and these lights sealed up and came apart crazy easy. Just take your time with the paint itself.

Your hatch is looking like it's on the right track. Keep it up!

frig man, it looks sweet just like that...i like the rims after they were all blacked out...i say later on look into professionally powdercoating them black, and yep a rear lip would finish it off

Thanks guys! I was really holding out for gold, but that's mostly because these wheels are ugly in general, so it was a reason to get a whole new set. I do like the gloss black, so if I stumble across cheap OE honda wheels or decent aftermarket wheels, my buddy will coat them for me for mad cheap or my dad can squirt it at the cost of like dinner @ Applebee's.
