OK so heres what I have, a 1998 Honda civic DX......did some mods on the exterior and got it from stock
to this
So I get out of the Navy(served 8 years as a mechanic on submarines), now I have more time on my hand so i keep on doing more mods, now performance wise, CAI, Hi-Flow Cat, 2.5" Cat-back exhaust system, AEM Tru-Time Cam gear, Eibach lowering springs, Skunk2 Front Upper and rear LCA, NRG Front and rear struts.
OK sounded nice looked nice i was getting alot head nods and people were getting whip-lash looking at my car. I was happy...(this is where i should of listened to my wife when she said "just leave it the way it is"). Last winter I decided to put my car in the garage , and i thought to myself perfect downtime to upgrade to turbo, so I built it for turbo, so right before the winter ended i took it out on the road after being down for 2 and a half months
I was happy, it was a garrett T3/T4 turbo .50/.63, running @6psi. lets just say i was having fun beating a 2007 Mugen Civic Si, but nothing big. she worked perfect up until may, when this happened
#2 Connecting rod thru the block (not a good sign), apparently my return line hose came off at the seam while driving down the Interstate lost all oil and didnt realize until it was too late, first words that came to my head after I saw it was "just leave it the way it is". So now I look at the Positive...Welcome Home B18b
This is what i have been working on since then, she'll be in by the end of the month. So what ya think guys. any recommendations.
