My 98 Ex....

Had the car for about 2 years now. The car was riced out when I bought it...had spray-painted interior pieces, indiglow guages, a fart cannon focuz muffler, etc. I removed all that crap and replaced with OEM. (sorry don't have any before pics)

Was supposed to be just a commuter and I had no plans of modifying it past stock. After a few years I couldn't stand it anymore. For some reason everything I own must be modified. Ran the plastic hubcaps forever...finally last week got some si wheels.

Plans so far are:

Remove wing and all emblems on rear
Tein S-techs (already have them, not installed yet)
20% tint all the way around

Mods that previous owner did that I kept:
egay short ram
header
test pipe

Sorry no pics of the motor...it's nothin special anyway.

Ideas?

99-00 conversion or drop with front lip and foglights, also lose the tail and a grill wouldnt hurt.

Yeah, it's going to get dropped.

I'd love to do the 99-00 conversion but not sure if I'm ready to drop that kinda money on it. What do you mean by lose the tail? It had a fake Si grill on it when I bought it but I prefer the oem grill.

if you get a lip and paint it, do the skirts as well, it makes a load of difference.

Clean, lose the tail probably means lose the spoiler, it looks better without the wing. Not feeling the sidemarker though.

Yeah, I don't like the sidemarkers either. That's something the previous owner did. I want to replace them with the correct orange ones, but I think he cut the hole in the wrong place.

The spoiler is going to go as well. I'm looking for a used trunk lid that doesn't have a spoiler mounted.

id say keep that front end 96-98 front FTW! and just get a lip and dropp...and the oem square foggies would look perfect!

I prefer 96-98 tails on 96-98 models and 99-00 tails on 99-00 models.

Good choice on the lip . And car looks great so far. Keep it up.

be careful the replicas are not as pictured on the car! They always advertise type r lips showing a model of an si lip and the same is for that ctr lip i believe, theyre showing the authentic one not the real thing.
