My 98...

Hey guys, I'm new here and I already posted in the Off Topic section, but i just wanted some more opinions on the rice rocket...Here are a few shots.

A little history....
I purchased the car in early October, used (obviously), with about 185,000 miles. I then bought the usual intake and strut bar just for kicks and a little better sound. I was saving up for a turbo kit to make it a little more fun to drive around, but I learned the hard way that the original engine was burning about 2 quarts every thousand miles and spun a bearing. After having to use all of my money on a new D16Y8 (I know everyone says to do a B-swap but it was completely out of the question, trust me I tried), That puts a pretty big hault on the turbo project. Since I am a poor high school student, I've just decided to leave it pretty much stock for a while until I can get enough to build the engine a little bit and add boost, but with college next year I don't see that happening anytime soon. I just plan on getting a Apexi WS2 catback, some nice tint, a lip kit, and either a set of 16" Bronze Konig Heliums or 16" Bronze Rota C-8's. Anyways, I kind of wrote a novel, and I thank anyone who actually read all of this, but I'm new to the car scene and still learning and just curious what everyone thinks.

Car has major potential. I would get rid of that pin-stripe and lower the car, get some rims, and front + rear lips.

Rims and lip kit for sure. Like I said, I'm pretty much broke and a drop is the last thing on my mind. Sure it will look great, but I'd rather get the power, then the drop personally.

Even an S Tech drop would be sexy....Trust me, after you get rims you'll NEED a drop.

Lower the car first. Then get wheels.

Take off the red Hs and you will have a decent stock civic.

I see what your saying, and on anything else I would probably agree. But ya gotta love red on black and I actually think they look descent. And they were free, I would never spend the money on oem ones.... :D

ABS or Polyurethane.

Remember Polyurethane, sometimes, can be hard to paint.
