i got her as a highschool graduation present from my parents back in 2000. after 5 years of saving up, i got her looking like this:

i've been through a lot with this car. road trips, dates, and a couple of circuit and autocross events

but then last august something really bad happened:

the car was smashed up front and back. sandwiched between a ford escape and my friend's ae101 corolla. but thankfully the chassis was intact and showed no signs of twisting or bending so i decided the car was too precious to give up and was worth the cost and hassle of rebuilding.

so after four loooooooong months of scouting for parts and personally working on the car, crawling inside, outside, over, and under it... transporting it back and fourth between AACT paint and bodyworks and Total Tuning Team...

i finally brought her home...

and this is what she looks like now...

and i'm a really really proud and happy owner!

thanks man! about the rims... they're not the real deal. just Rota J.SPL's but with original Work RSZ-R decals and repainted to match the original color.

lol! yeah i know... still waiting for a friend of mine to finally sell his real rsz-r's. or for anybody else here in the philippines to sell a set of original rsz-r's. but even then... i'm gonna reserve the real ones for use at carshows and events. too many potholes here in manila to risk f'in up authentic rare jdm rims. i'd rather risk it with these rota's which can stand more abuse anyway.

besides, i tell everybody who notices the rims that they're imitations.
