my cd player

if n-e-1 has n-e-idea how to take off the dash where the stock radio is @ in a 98 civic please let me know, i thought it was just held down by clips but is not, it has screws somewhere

1)Remove your lower dash panels. There are 3 phillips screws drivers side, 2 8mm blts to remove glovebox, 5phillips screws and 1 8mm bolt to remove lower center portion. Once these are off, there should be 2 or 4 8mm bolts holding your radio/htr control housing in place.

2)Remove them.

3)Unplug radio and heater controls, pull housing from dash, install mount kit on workbench.

4)Wire aftermarket harness (Metra 70-1721) to aftermarket radio harness on workbench.

5)Mount cd player in radio housing, plug everything in, put dash back together.

6) Enjoy your CD's!


Note: First time installers should allow approx 1 hour for this install.
