Hey everyone,
So I haven't posted pics of my car since like Feb. 2005. I bought it in Aug. of '05 and it was a total ricebucket.
So there have been many changes during the past, almost 3 years now.
The progress has been slow since I'm a full-time student in an expensive Technical College, and paying for my education all by myself.

Here's how the car looked back in Feb '05. I bought it already "modified".
You can also view the thread that I posted back then:My 99 Silver CX

February of 2005.
The only thing I did for these pics is I had the front bumper painted because it came black because the car was in a accident. I got those headlights to replace the old headlights that were exactly like those, but the halo rings were broken.

October 2005.
So the headlight's halo's went out one by one and within 3 months all 4 weren't working.
So I sold both rear and front lights and got e-bay JDM replica knock offs. Also, didn't have money for a kit front bumper, so I just got an e-bay lip and a grille from a guy locally and had my buddy paint match them to car's color.

November 2005.
Luckily I sold the body kit and the money I made made it possible for me to get OEM Fenders, Side skirts, and rear bumper, and a knock-off lip.
Here's a shitty pic of my car with primered rear, and unpainted fenders.

May 2006.
My oil pan sprung a bad leak. I was so busy with school and work that I lost a ton of oil and spun a bearing in my D16Y7. So with a help of a few people, we sourced another D16Y7 short block and after a few hundred in parts including the shortblock, all new gaskets, and cases of beer I bought people for helping out, we had the car back on the road in 3 days. It was so hectic that I didn't take any pics.

July 2006.
Sadly, my buddy who painted my car before moved out of state, and I clearly didn't have money to paint my car. So I kept driving it with primered fenders, rear bumper, and sideskirts.
I was able to trade my 17' Eagle Alloys with shitty ass tires for a set of 15' Gunmetal Motegis with BRAND NEW Nitto tires.

January 2007.
Some shitty ass ice on the road caused me to skid off the road, jump a curb and water drain, and plow over a sign. Didn't call the cops because I didn't want to pay for the damaged sign and have it on my reccord, so I towed it home and fixed it. Here's the damage:

April 2007.
The 150$ D16Y7 shortblock had enough abuse. After having me driving it for 35k miles in one year, it started burning ton of oil. So I decided to swap it out. Got a JDM B16A with LSD tranny from JDM Motor. Also threw on Megan Racing 4-1 header with 2.5' collector, JDM CTR Valve Cover. Modified the D16Y7 intake fit the B16A with an elbow.

half a bottle of simple green does wonders.

October 2007.
Finally decided that I was tired of driving around with primered body panels. Went to O'Reillys and got Spray Paint to match the color of my car. The rear came out good, but the fenders came out a lil darker, but most of the people didn't notice. It sure looked better than primer though. Also got foggies installed and PasswordJDM license plate relocation kit. Also got APEXi WS2 exhaust installed.

I installed a Mugen style lip back on, but didn't have a chance to take a picture after that because I wrecked the car 3 weeks back. Some lady slammed her brakes in front of me and I locked my wheels up and slid into the rear of her '07 durango. The trailer hitch went through my grille and radiator, shredding my hood.
I bought the car back and in the process of rebuilding it. Now that I got a new job and only going half-time to college, I'm rebuilding the car even better. Today I got OEM SI grille and headlights. Yesterday I got a JDM bumper pole.

I will keep you guys updated on the rebuild of the car. I'm also supposed to get pics from the insurance of how the car looked.

With the money I got from the insurance I'm going to finish the bodywork, get some new mirrors, EK spoiler and I'll plan on painting the whole car in the spring. The whole body has dents and dings everywhere I"m going to be fixing...
So I narrowed it down to 4 choices of the paint color:
1. Super Sonic Blue Pearl Clearcoat, B-90P, offered on '99 civics overseas.

2. Phoenix Yellow, Y-56, I think this is the ITR color.

3. Gunmetallic, like dark silver, haven't seen many in this color:

4. Just keep it Vogue Silver Metallic, NH-583M, my hatch stock color:

Off topic:
here's a pic I ran across while googling for these pics.

unless you are gay or named jezek do not pait your car yellow, ;) the dark gun metal color is played out see it all the time. the blue is nice.

i like your car aside from the bad body gaps from where things dont fit from your crash. think it looks cool with not lip btw.
