My dog died :(

Got home from work and found my dog in her house:/ she was just fine running around last night. I guess she was just old and died in her sleep..

Lost both of my German shepherds that I've had since I was a kid within a year. Really sucks.. Wish I didn't get so attached to animals like that. But we adopted a boxer/lab mix a few months ago. He's a young'n, full of energy. Maybe he'll turn out to be a good buddy.

I feel you man. I just lost my dog last month. She just ran out of gas and she knew it which made it that much harder to deal with.

Im srry to hear that man,wen my dog got attacked by a pitbull nd he was at the vet i was worried sick i cant imagine how you must feel bro.Pets become part of the family nd wen you loose them you loose a family member,and again im srry to hear that

Thanks everyone. Just buried her next to her brother, my old shepherd. It isn't as hard this time because I know she passed in her sleep.

I feel bad tho because we were gonna take them for a walk by the lake yesterday but it was nasty after it rained.. Gonna go take the young one for a walk tho

I am sorry for your loss, they are like a real person and a part of the family. Its a shame that dogs are man's best friend but yet their lives are so short. Just remember all the good times and know that she had a great life!

Sorry for your loss. I grew up with a German Shepherd and a Black Lab when I was a kid. I still miss them and think about them all the time to this day. It's very hard losing a dog but if you think about what they gave you in their life time with you, it's a little easier to get through their passing.

I've had to say goodbye to several of my dogs. But in the end you know you get to start a new friendship with another one so time just heals itself.

I lost my 14 year old Collie last year. That broke my heart. Then just 2 days ago I lost my 15 year old orange tabby. Both died in their sleep, and both are burried under the same Pecan tree in the peaceful country.
