My dvd player is asking for a password. Please Help

Hey guys i have a dvd player in my car the brand of it is icon-tv when i put the movie fast & the furious its asking parental control password, and i dont know it because the dvd i have i bought it used, i called the guy that siold it to me he said he doesnt know, he doesnt remember putting a password on it, so my stupid dvd player doesnt play all my movies just some of them,any one know if thers a universal password, or what can i do?

Call the manufacturer, they will give you an override code that will delete the current code and allow you to create a new one. I had to do the same thing for my PS2 that I bought used, the PS2 code is 7444 fyi.

i meant when mine was new. i think you can reset it but why would you, unless you have porn and little kids alover your house
