my eg almost got stolen !!

Left my car parked in my driveway last night. When I got up after hearing my dogs barking. I saw some guys taking off the window trim piece exposing the lock and hitch metal tube things. Either ways they ran. Now I want to put some security into my car what are some good suggestions??? I'm an experienced mechanic so i was thinking maybe some clean kill switch to the main ecu relay or I even found a ground under the right side coolant neck that left unbolted the ecu won't have ground nothing works just cranks.

i wouldent recomend that.

i waould do a sercurty system one with sensors and stuff

a kill switch wont stop the thief from getting in side thats why i recomend a full system

I forgot to say it has an alarm but honestly I've broken into cars back when I was young and stupid. To be honest some horn and flashing lights is not going to stop me from getting inside. I'm more worried as in entire car as a whole the radio is the least my worries

i have an alarm, and it's for me to get to my car before it's stolen then for the alarm to attract attention, that's why i got a 2-way alarm system, so it will page me exactly when it's happening, and i have hoodpins for when the thief pops my hood, and a tilt motion sensor if they even have a tow truck.

but yes some kill switches would help. LAYERS is the key for security.
