got my 1st car in 2001.gold EK 96 sedan.made from 100% pure bullshit.hahaha.mugen style chin.blackd out headlights.type R style grill.aluminum gauge bezel.i was such a poser back then...didnt have money to buy s**t.2nd civic was somewhat of a poser too.had it painted dark metallic blue.mugen style chin.spoon style mirrors.dropped on kg/mm's.had the rear swapped out for some 99-00 tails,bumper,trunk.
no spoon mirrors yet.at 1st, i was on sheepdog springs.moderate drop..if any.really stiff though.painted the bodykit gunmetal..sorta carbon fiber inspired..kinda dumb now that i think about it.

color matched the skirts,mugen style rear skirts,got a trunk lip too.changed to kg/mm brand springs.a little lower than the sheepdogs i had before.i was dying to get some new rims!!aghhh
spoon style mirrors on! color matched too! though i put 'em on even when they were still "plastic black" .btw, this was a VTi..so it had the d16 vtec in it.abso-f**kin-lutely no engine upgrades...oh wait...i had new sparkplugs..does that count?
b16 fever hit me hard..so i upgraded!! bought a used Passion Orange 2000 SiR sedan.(SiR comes in the form of a 4DR here in the Philippines)took stuff from my old car and slapped it on the SiR..the red/white tails,clear fender lights,spoon mirrors(not in pic) and my lip wing(not in pic). bought tanabe springs as my 1st upgrade.type R style chin spoiler.
tennis ball size dent from the previous owner.hole/rip in the front bumper.this new project was like adopting an abused malnourished dog.
[/URand L]and of course..my lovely piece of s**t fart can muffler from the previous owner..the guy freakin' modified the piping so the muff would be at an angle.piss poor job!damn ugly welds, bends, etc.i had to roll around with this muff for a while too coz i had no money for an authentic bolt-on.it was a little embarassing
cleaned it all up.color matched everything.slapped on the mirrors and wing.and changed the OEM piece out back to Mugen style skirts....
....next up was a change of rims in the form of 15" Rota GT3's (gold)...and a carbon hood!!by this time, i had bolted on a sheepdog bolt-on muff and an HKS air filter.
about a year later..i had enough money saved up,so i went shopping
on went a mugen style chin,OEM tails,OEM side markers,Mugen headers,Recaros, zero-1000 intake, ultra wires, and a bunch of other goodies
this was all done little by little though.
changed rims for a while.JDM united arrows eurostar s-05's.16's for a change.too dark IMO, so i changed back to the GT3s.lookin for a new set of JDM 15s right no though.coz ROTA's arent really anythin to be proud of i guess. i put the united arrows on my Fit for now.
i'm still workin on it..but this project has taken me YEEAAARSSSS so far.not sick of my EK though..not by a long shot.so let me know what u guys think
