My first modded civic wasn't much of a performance build. I just did an AEM cold air intake that but the filter about 4" from the ground (bad idea). Did a catback exhaust, and Eibach springs with GR2 shocks, stut bars, and a few other things. Basically I did a bunch of bolt on stuff and by the time I was done I got it to the point where it was half as fast and handled half as good as my stock Nissan S13. I wasn't too happy initially with my switch from Nissan to Honda but the car grew on me. Until I went through a puddle at 50mph and hydrolocked the motor. I shot about 7 holes in the engine block and replaced it with another single cam. Left the AEM off after that.
