Hey guys i just picked this up for 1300 and its in great shape, its a 97 civic hx 1.6 vtec-e with a 5pd trans. Just want to post a build thread so i can keep ya updated. Im selling the hood from it hopefully soon for 200 then getting a carbonfiber hood, i need to de-rice the car bad, also does anyone know what kind of rims these are???? im clueless did they come off an accord? well tell me what u think

Looks clean. but I would most defffffffinitely get rid of that hood. And maybe the wing as well... But other than that, looks like a good car to start building!

i think the rims are OEM Honda wheels. I think they were an upgrade at the dealership or something.

Yea i just sold the hood for 200 on craigslist and Wow did it go fast, so im saving to get a carbonfiber hood, im going to keep the wing just because its the si wing and i love how it looks, im changing the tail lights cuz i just hate that euro crap. id much rather the 99-2001 tails, i want to do a mini me swap or if i have the money ls vtec, lol but thats farrrrrrrr down the road im loving the 20 gas tank and just cruising around..... heres some pics of it in the sun and i threw some rain guards on

Keep those wheels if you plan on going the fully loaded USDM route. They're a rare optional wheel that was discontinued along with the front and rear lip in 98 for USDM civics.

What color rims looks best with silver? i was thinking red rota gt3's. idk if it would look bad or not what do you guys think. i don't wanna go black
