My first honda

New to the site,hoping to learn some new stuff. I picked this car up a couple weeks ago. I Wanted to get something that got good gas mileage and was still kind of fun and I ended up with this....
It's a 2000 Civic ... Brand new factory GSR trans and a GSR motor with a bunch of other upgrades... It has some appearance upgrades too (different fenders,front end,door panels,gauge cluster etc) About 7k in receipts. It needs a few little things but I think its a good start for a cool little daily driver.
I'm thinking a front lip,window tint, and a better stereo and it'll be pretty smooth.MAYBE a set of 17's also

Engine block shows b18c1, and the trans is a brand new gsr LSD from Acura. I've got a 3k receipt on the motor and if I remember right the trans was just over 2k from the dealership.
The door panels are definitely cool,there is black that shows through underneath the red,kind of hard to see in the picture.The guy got them off eBay for a little over 200 dollars.
The body and paint are in excellent condition aside from the covered holes in the lid and a broken door handle I have to fix.
It seems like they spent a good deal of money on some of the cosmetics to have the "si" look.
I can't wait to put some tint, a front lip and some 17's on this car.....I think it'll look pretty killer.

I just heard there are knockoffs of my valve cover....I think mine is one of them.sad day. Oh well at least I didn't pay for it

ditch the 17s, leave the blades. Car looks good.

i think 17s would be a bit to big. honestly 16s would be good with some circute 8s on ur black car would look sick. just my opinion

Clean car man, looks good. If you like the 17's I'd say rock them ... I personaly like the way they look on my '98.

did a straight trade on the wheels for these.... they have new tires. Not overly crazy about the wheels but I like them better than what was on there. they will hold me over until I can buy some new ones.

Just got the windows tinted and it looks so much better!(no pic yet) Getting a nice wash and wax tomorrow. I'm thinking of painting the calipers here soon for a little inexpensive visual enhancement. A bronze color might look pretty nice.
I'm still looking for the right wheel.....but 17s are definitely the stance I'm looking for.

Also have a mugen front lip on the way as we speak.
