My HX in Chicago snow(56k grab a snack)

hey all, just wanted to post pics since i was bored, its a 97 civic hx

not many mods, i just bought alot of s**t and im waiting till spring comes

my first mod ill finally do will be a drop, tein s-techs i got from hkt03(thanks bro ) and then maybe an exhaust, but right now im just buying parts since snow > me

but my mods are:
-cleared headlights
-CTR grill
-5% tint on rear windows
-B&M short shifter w/bushings
-blox gunmetal shiftknob
-LED blue gauges
-luminics ultra white bulbs
-pioneer stereo
-rockford fosgate subs and amp
-CLUBCIVIC DECAL to REPRESENT!!


as you can see it isnt much, but hey its got a nice ass paint job



during summer, when it was clean and it had HX rims

and now, owned by winter and chicago snow and rollin on steelies custom painted
they dont look as bad as i thought..they are 13" and i got all 4 for $50 with tires from honda-tech (the front 2 even have blizzacks)

nope.... in fact i believe more are stick than auto...I have nothing to back that up other than the fact that all the hx's that i know are stick

either way, it's very sleek, i love the color black on a civic especially that year..good to see you own a spare set of steels for the winter, make sure to keep 'er in good shape.

definately. thanks for all the comments! im from schaumburg, il..i know i know suburb boy, but hey im moving out to chicago sometime next year hopefully

im still collecting a couple of parts for the suspension, i just need shocks right now so if anyone knows where i can get some for a good price (under $300?) even used are ok, as long as they are still good and usable and not leaking, LMK, so then once march 2006 comes around, i can get this baby lowered...i cant wait

shes got 110,000 on her, and those steelies aren't that bad, i wanna get some black rims, like rota subzeros or something, but we will have to wait and see



what do you guys think about blacking out the headlights now? i think the black housing would look nice, and i want to get tint on the front windows

cool i know were that is. been out there a couple times. i am from orland park. also i would think just the stock struts would be ok since you got the s tech's. since it is only a light drop. as for the rim choice that would look pretty sweet. same with black housing headlights.

i see you got my same cd player i moved my to the cupholder area it look alot better at night the green looks sweet in the dark and its E Z eR to use the remote and wen the second face is down it looks really nice you wont regret it

i need rims and a drop, but im broke...o well..would SI rims look good? ppl have told me they like my car with steelies and that i should get black rims to go with the black out theme and then tint the front windows..but i like SIs...does anyone have a pic of black SI rims?? wouldnt that be different huh
