my needle on the cluster???

k i got a 1992 hatch and i got the stock vx gauges wit rpm.....i seen some youtube vids and s**t and was wonderin how they get the diff color needle for rpm,speedo, gas and heat one.....i wanna make mine red, so do i have to buy a new needle or do i jus paint it....i was thinkin of takin my glass thing out and jus get red marker and color over it haha so has anyone got ne ideass

I think that is the JDM cluster...if not then they painted them.

I saw a write up about it some where. They taped the needles off and painted them with tempsters or something like that. The needles have no light emiting through them so go crazy and just paint them. Help?

try this: flourescent color of your choice and black light LEDs to replace all but backlight bulbs w/ the blacklight LEDs. s**t looks hot if you do it right. this works great for 96-00 since there is the lights on the front part of the cluster, i dunno if 92-95 have those front lights. front lights= top center of cluster, 2 blue covered lights, almost at edge of cluster
