I bought the SI just before Christmas last year (2004) and took some pics of it. I posted some, more or less, before and after pics below. The things I still want to do to the car on the exterior are as follows:
1. Add JDM fogs for the front bumer
2. Tint the sunroof to about 20% to match the body more and remove the tinting on the front passenger and driver's side window tinting since the tinting on the passenger side is jacked. Not sure if I'd re-tint them or not.
3. Possibly paint the brake rotors and calipers.

Double post???
Was told to post it in the member ride section so I did. Some people can be real critical on here sometimes...

As for looking generic. That's your opinion. IMO it just takes somebody who realizes what's actually been changed on a car. Besides, I'm not trying to get all Need For Speed or Fast and Furious with this car. I personally don't want to make it not look "generic" by going overboard. I'm not suggesting you think that's how you go about making a car not look generic, but I guess I just don't know too many other ways. Not looking generic can also tend to lean towards starting to look rice (depending on how it's done) and I really don't want to go down that road.

Which one? I assume you mean the lower one. I've already posted a thread regarding that. For now, that grill stays the way it is. I'm not about to spends hundreds of dollars to get a whole new front bumper and then have it painted just to fix that for now. Down the road, yes, but not now.

It's the stock SI spoiler, but not from Honda. Got it from spoilerdepot.com for ~$225 pre-painted out the door.

I forgot to add this in at the bottom of the original post:

In case it's not obvious... I lowered it some more. Some people think it's not enough, but I like it where it is. There's about 1" between the top of the tire and the wheel well edge. I changed my wheels to 16" Gunmetal C8's. I added bumper plugs, removed the front fogs from the previous owner, removed the front "H" emblem and added the SI spoiler.

True, maybe a lot of very noticable things haven't been changed, but there have just been several details changed. I didn't get offended. I guess I just misunderstood what he was getting at by "generic".
