I finally got some pics of my new car.. sorry for the quality, the car was dirty & pics were taken free hand









Car was 100% virgin when I got it.. only mods as of yet are K&N intake & 2in/1.3in drop.

So it will out with the german motor & in with the american =)

you gonna try the alpha swap? good luck i almost got one to do an alpha... only problem is the ls1 and the rear end were WAY out of my price range.... the new ls1 is like what 12000?

You can pic up an used ls1 swap from a f-body or vette from anywhere around 1500-2000 & you use the stock E36 rear.

oh i see i always thought that if i did this project that i would be using the new zo6 motor dont know why, i knew that the old motor was cheaper just didnt know it was that cheap. and will that rear end hold that power or are you going to do a m rear end? i have only ever seen this swap done on a 318 only because of the cheapness of the car. how long till this project gets underway
