my new car... long story behind this

ok so as most of you probably dont know i replaced my '00 auto civic dx w/ a 94 integra. parents wernt too pleased but i drove around for a while, and turned out the guy that i bought it from was a liar. i didnt notice this until i got my new paint job, but the car was obviously in a wreck and the frame was bent. my parents, for once, felt sorry for me, because they knew i spend 2 years saving up for the integra, and i worked for my mom the entire time, so i told them i was parting out the integra (sold it bone stock for 1900, then worked on selling the s**t i had on it. intake, header, exhaust, cf hood, springs, rims, etc etc etc)
im sure most of you are going to hate on this really bad, but i now drive a 2001 toyota celica gts. i REALLY wanted this 99 SI that was at capitol honda, but i went there w/ my dad the first day it was on the lot, we were going to get it, but it was sold in about 3 hours of being on the lot.
so for now im just going to stick with this toyota thing, its really growing on me, it walks all over stock civic si's and gsrs, so im pretty happy. i probably wont post much anymore, but i am about 95% positive next year when i go off to college i want a more "low key" kinda car, so ill probably end up going back into hondas.

ive done some mods on the gts, so far its I/H/E for power and damn this thing pulls pretty hard for a 1.8. you honda guys will probably hate on it, but whatever. cya all in a year. and thx for everyone here being cool and s**t, there are so many assholes on my celica boards.

the interior is SO nice, the seats are probably the most comfortable seats ive ever been in, they are racing style seats stock. sooo supportive

Not a huge fan of that Gen Celica, but its definitely a nice car....

And why would us "Honda Guys" hate on it....

I would say the majority of this site is pretty open minded when it comes to other cars.... I haven't gotten any flak about my car yet....

I like Celica GT-Ss. I thought about getting a black 2001 black GT-S for awhile even. Black leather interior too. I loved that car. She was a lot of fun.

Anyway, Celica GT-S > Civic Si. The Si is overpriced and overhyped anyway. Too bad I hear there isn't a whole lot to gain out of the Celica's motor. What I heard could be wrong though. Either way, still fun cars.

gts is sick

this kid in town has what i think is a base with altezzas, intake and short shifter. A bunch of people want to beat his ass including some of my friends. So one day my boy and some folks were waiting for him and he gets in his car and books. So my boy chases him. Lets just say it was sad he guy couldnt even lose an auto 04 corolla s on 17s with 3 heads in the car, blown shocks, and bald front tires.

The real question is how come you sold the integra ... did it still drive good? I probably woulda kept it. I woulda been pissed that i spent all this money on what i thought was a clean car, but i probably woulda kept it. My integra was in a wreck of some sort cause when i took it to get alignment after i lowered it the guy said it still pulls a little to the left and he cant get it straight, plus my left fender feels like it dont got no clear coat.

it's one of those cars that you have to know how to drive to make it "quick." the gts isn't any faster than the gt until youget into the peak powerband, like the civic si. which is why you hear all these stories of si's getting beat by ex's with i/h/e and other bolt ons an teg ls's...the si should be faster but people can't drive so they make it slow. ive seen stock si's run 15.3's at the track, and ive seen them run 16.5's...it all depends on the driver.
