the mileage is 120k. i lucked out HARDCORE on this car. to make the long story short, i'll just say the sticker price on it was $10,119 and i drove it home for $5,000 flat. i was actually planning on buying a 6th gen hatch, but after looking at it, it was in horrible shape for their asking price. so i said peace to that deal, and magically i found this prelude at a big dealership and got it for the same price as the piece of crap hatch

Damn, you got a hell of a deal...
Why was the sticker price $10,119? That's a random ass number to sell a car for...

dude, i'm asking myself the same question. here's the only reason i can figure out... the temp gauge didn't work..and it had a bad surging idle. went from 1k to 3k constantly when stopped. they told me some bullcrap about how i needed to buy a new computer for it to fix that problem, saying it was a $300 part, but i fixed that s**t last night in about 15 minutes. it was the fast idle air temp valve. just came unscrewed. and i put a new water temp switch in, now she purrs like a kitten and the temp gauge works. maybe they just didn't want to deal with the car anymore.. i have no idea. all i know is: i got hooked up fat dawg =)

any tips on re-wiring o2 sensor problems?
mm.. well i did the thing where you get the spark plug non-fouler, wrap the tip of the o2 sensor in aluminum foil, then then screw on the non-fouler, then put it back into the exhaust pipe. all that for the secondary. for my primary, one of the heater wires broke off right at the sensor, so i had no wire left to splice it back together. so i jammed a thumbtack pin down into the little nub of a wire, then soldered the wire back onto that. now everything runs good. dunno if that helps you or not...

dude build that ldue up! especially with that closed deck H22 in her! perfect for boosting. my friend rocky has a 98 lude with c/f hood, c/f sunroof plug, stripped interior, xs power turbo set up, tuned on uberdata, slammed on skunk2 coils overs, ran on street tires 13.2 spinning form 2nd til the end of 3rd. trapped at 113 well i think it was 113. . but anyways that car is golden. he bought his for 7 adn that was a steal anywhre else wanted like 12K for it.

awsome! i'd love to have 2 built hondas, but i think im gonna just keep everything relatively stock on the Lude.. i need it to be reliable and dont really wanna mess with tuning it or anything... it drives so smooth and its nice and quiet compared to my hatch, so i'll prolly keep'er that way
