My new sedan

So I made a build thread for my Civic a few months back. I decided to end it and stop modding cars and move on. Deep down inside I really just wanted something nice and roomie. I used up every ounce of interest I had in my Hondas and just couldn't take it any longer. I put the Civic up for sale and 2 weeks later it sold for $4,900. So I started looking at some more high end used sedans. (TLs, RLs, LSs, GSs....etc) I came across something that I just had to check out.

BEFORE:

AFTER:

2002 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE. V6
(VQ35) w/ 5-speed manual transmission.
1-owner, clean CARFAX, clean Autocheck, pristine condition, runs flawlessly.
BOSE system with 6-disc CD changer
Average prices on these exact models in 5-speed and same mileage range are about $9,000.
I got it for $6,000 with under 99,990 miles.

Yea. I love driving it. It's got great acceleration and is just so smooth. I am too accustomed to driving on a hardass suspension in my Si, so driving the Altima is just so relaxing and quiet. No rattles or spine crunching bumps. haha.

awesome dude! congrats!
Thanks Pat. We will go for a drive in it next week for sure.

Well I couldn't find a TL with under 140k miles that was a decent deal. Not to mention the transmissions in those things are cursed. (recalls) I want something that will last, and autos are a b*tch. VQs and their trannies are pretty strong from what I've read.

congrats that was a steal
It really was...better than any TL I was ever interested in the past weeks of looking.

nice. you're gonna have fun with that. congrats! =) =)
Agreed. I like torque:P It should get me around quite nicely.
