My New Toy!

I just picked up a JDM D15b Vtec head from LowNotSlow today. Im gonna clean it up tomorrow, get a new dizzy cap, new hoses, and eventually put in on my Y7 block. (Yes, I realize its an OBD1 head...and I know its Vtec, so I know Im gonna need all the Vtec parts). The only thing it really needs is a camshaft. On with the pics.

i was trying to sell that same head complete for $100 and no one would take it came with everything as well! clean it up before you put it on, and you might as well get a skunk 2 cam or something other than stock while your at it

I got it for under $50. Only thing it needs is a camshaft, cam gear (I dunno if I can use my Y7 cam gear or not..), a rocker arm, and the little silver cylender that goes in the Vtec rocker arms. But yea, Its all cleaned up now. Theres some piece that wont really come clean, but its clean enough. I havent taken pics yet, but when I do, Ill post 'em up. Oh yea, I dont have the valve cover for it either.

Yea, once I get my hands on a valve spring compressor, I can get underneith the valves and clean it ALOT better.

You swaping the intake manifold as well? Because by looking at my Y7 throttle body compared to the D15b throttle body, they looks almost identicle. Maybe a few sensors are different, but thats about it. You might be able to just swap intake manifolds, and keep the same throttle body.
