My poor EJ8...

So I heard my mom pulling out in her Rodeo this morning and a few seconds later I hear this *crash* followed by the car door slamming. My mom then came inside to tell me that she hit my fender. Great. And so now I am trying to remove the dented piece of crap, but I am having trouble taking off the side moulding to access the two bolts near the bottom. Does anybody know what I'm talking about? Thanks for any advice.

Your trying to take off the sideskirts?

Underneath the sideskirts, there are 3 or 4 screwed in type clips.

Then in front of the sideskirts, right beside the front wheel, there are two screws you need to take off.

After you get the screws off, just push the sideskirts forward, towards the front of the car.

It should come off easy.

Yeah, I'm amazed my hood wasn't damaged at all. I ended up buying a new fender for $133, which gave me an excuse to throw in some sun visors that were missing from when I first bought my car, lol. Those frickin' mexicans abused my baby so much :'(

Yeah, well the website I'm purchasing from is Honda genuine parts, so it's actually a pretty good price. And thank you fwdpower, I was able to get off my side skirt and fender. Now it's time to wait for the crap to arrive in the mail!! Yay.

Anyway, I was wondering why you took your fender off before the new one arrived. What if you need to drive? I would rather have a dent in my fender than no fender at all.
