My project car...

Not really sure where to post this....

Here's what I have....
$16,000 to blow on a car
The car has to be a Honda (of course!), naturally aspirated, daily drivable, pass the Massachusetts state inspection, handle fairly well and be able to run, at most, 13.0 sec in a 1/4 mile. I think this is very possible and I've got the time to kill building it. I'm wondering what you guys would do with these requirements?

lets see 12'sor less in the 1/4 in an n/a honda... there goes most of your 16 grand. and the suspension needed to get you there will take up the rest of the money, and will most certainly not be optimal for handling. and it will make a shitty, unreliable daily driver. if you want a drag car buy a mustang or camaro build a drag car. if you want a handling car, buy the honda and build a handling car. and if you want to run 12's or less on a budget boost the mofo. i personally think the driving on our wonderful new england rural routes is far better than drag racing, but thats my opinion. if it doesnt have to be a honda, a late model lt1 camaro would easily suit all your needs and come in under budget (handling might be less that what you want, but with some simple mods (legal ones too) n/a that thing will burn in the 1/4.

i duno why honda of course...if i had 16g i would get like a 300zx or a mr2 spider dude..just me though...
