my radio is odd help!!

ok ,when i bought my 90 civic dx hatch it had an old pioneer pullout (which is the radio i still have in it) the funny thing is that i can turn it on by turning on my parking lights with out having to put in the key or even turning it .so my question is is this normal in a 4th gen civic ? or is there something wrong with the installation, what could be happening.... need your help please

im not a audio guru but i think theres something wrong with the installation...go to ur local audio shop and just ask them whats wrong...and see what u can do to fix it. if people cant bring the answers to u...u bring the questions to them...if that makes sense

yup go to a installation place and have them reinstall it. you might wanna take a look at the wiring and make shure everything is where its supposed to be

it sounds like they have the illumination hooked up to the switched wire , its a pretty easy fix

maybe by chance someone hot wired it from the parking lights instead of from the ignition switch.
