My rims are ready.....

Pictures of my newly painted rims....

Painted my wheels yesterday.... they are konig monsoons... but now they are gloss black with a silver lip.....just waiting on them to dry now... and i got new tires today as well.. so when they dry im goin to get the tires put on and will put them on my car... then update this post with some pics of them on my car......just bored and wanted to share haha... anyway later....

I will throw some pics on here tomorrow of them not on my car.... i havent pulled the tape off the lips yet... im gonna do it tomorrow and i will take some pics.. then i will get some pics of them on my car in a few days......

you should post up a diy when you post your pics... should include what you used.. how many coats, prep work... all that cuz i am thinking about doing it myself

the edges could have been done a little cleaner. It seems like there are some points all the way around the lip that are a little sketchy, but you would have to be pretty close up to tell. For the most part I'd give it a thumbs up though!

from the small pic that i saw they looked good...i am a little weary of painting my rims myself....i wanna paint mine black too...i really want to get them powdercoated but painting myself would be cheaper....does anyone know how much it would be to get four 17 inch rims powdercoated...i really want something that won't chip easily

Yeah it was pretty tough actually.. took a lot of time.... a whole lot....but i think they look damn good for me doing it myself... and it saved me alot of money... just hope the hold up good.... the edges are a little scetchy around the lip..... that was a tough part of it all....taping off the lip it was really hard to get straight.... but if you look at the overall rim they look nice.... if you look close up then there are some mistakes...but not too bad at all... overall i am very very pleased with them..... i will write up a DIY when i get the chance.......i will also get some pics tomorrow when i put them on my car.....
