mmm...so ive been on a while and never post a picture of my car so this morning....i went to the car wash...and took some photos with a cheap digicam....so dont mind the quality...
but here it is.....a silver 97 EX with black bumpers and a black driver side fender...i picked it up for a thousand...so its not CLEAN!....and sorry about the size

all comments appreciated....

only mods so far are...
flowmaster muffler with 2.25 piping....i went with a flowmaster....because the police around are strict on exhuast noise....
RS Akimoto short ram...from a 95 civic.....with a cheap autozone filter...i got the whole intake for free....

yea i know...this spring im going to spray it if this guy i know wont sell me his bumpers
but other than that everything is good...a few minor dings...and scratches on the molding but thats it...but hey...for $1000 i think it was a good deal...

cant beat the price!

and it all depends on how u wanna do it...a quick shot of paint at maaco shoudnt run u too much for just those parts...u can do a whole car for $300, if u just want a matching paint job....

why flowmaster though? i went from a racing muffler to a stock muffler with a 4.5 inch tip for looks, and it's still loud...sizing up the pipes should have been enuf to make noise and still yeild gains...

i went flowmaster because the muffler on there was an annoying sounding one from autozone, and the flowmaster one only costed me 15 dollars....i bought it from a friend that was going to put it on his accord....but then he got t-boned....and i didnt have money to buy a stock muffler...

hkt03....i had those kumhos on my prelude and i didnt think they were that bad....

really, i thought they sucked. loud ass tires that were horrible in wet conditions. got some Falken Ziex 512s now and i've never looked back.

actually i have the kuhmo supra 712s on my car...been in rain and they grip fine (they even gripped pretty good that one day chicago had stupid snow/rain day a week ago) so they arent that bad...as for road noise...i cant hear them over my subs

for a grand i think it looks like a great car. once you get the stuff painted and throw on those wheels you want it'll look a lot better. keep us updated on its progress.

no more black frontbumper and blk fender...and a DIY CTR Grille and the side skirts are being painted at the moment...

oh yea...when i get some time....i'll put up pictures of my blown block...and some pictures of working on the car...i put a big ole whole in the blockk...wait...i should say two holes....boohoohoo.....
