my build, well, sort of...

this will be my thread...to post what ever i want...

ok, so i got the new headlights in, and was playing around with some ideas for blk housing...

with amber reflector

w/o reflector

wtf....electrical tape? yes, i was jus going through ideas before i painted... i think i did a good job with the tape though...
i will be atempting the diy black housing with in the next week, as soon as i get a hold of my balls and decide to bake my new lights...




also aligned my headlights yesterday...

as good as i can get them for now...

taillight mod

not really a mod but i think it looks ok, still waiting for my LEDs from superbrightleds.com....ordered two for my brake lights, and a set for my cluster, maybe the blue lighting will look better



fixed the overlap of my hood/fender...

damn that sucks....


also, as i went outside to get my camera....woot woot!!!!

my exhaust clamp came in....now i can switch between mufflers easily!

Awesome chadi...

DIY can be a pain in the ass...but it's always satisfying that you know you did it yourself.

I just did my door pannels a couple weeks ago.

They are now black and match my seats.

thanks for the replies guys...i didnt think anyone was going to look into this....


but i was thinkning about leaving the amber cover off, any reason why it should be left on?

and about my hood/fender...
i just loosend both the hood and the fender....and as i was tightening up the fender, i jus pulled on it a little...dont pull too hard becasue you might break the peice on the headlight that goes into that hole in the fender...
then i just layed my hood on, with the bolts not tighten, and i wiggled it around some...then tightend it when it was as good as i can get it...

hey instead of painting the headlights black, go buy some of that smoke spraypaint and use that= much better results!

that was my origonal plan, to use nightshades over the chrome paint, but when i wash washing them, i used hot, high pressure water, and blasted some of the chrome parts off, so i dont know if i shuld sand it down, primer than use that, or if im just going to use a charcoal grey color...
