hey guys, new to this site and looking for some info really.
i have a d16z6 and looking to turbo it. it will be a budget build but not a cheap cheap one. looking for around 260+ mark.
Wanna replace the pistons + rods with forged ones and have a stock head.
can anyone surgest a good set of forged rods and pistons that are reletivly cheap.
and also what sort of clutch id need that will handle that sort of bhp.
are the ebay turbo kits any good for this power mark im looking for.
ive never turboed a car before but as a mechanic i can do all the work myself
but if anyone knoes of good boost guide with everything id need to no then id much apprieate it.
ive tried www.turbod16 but cann ot register for sum reason.

http://www.clubcivic.com/board/showthread.php?t=112933 is a good reference for everything... i woulnd't buy a ebay kit due to cracking manifold and oil leak cuz the turbo isn't built that great. i would piece up pieces and find the stuff u want. as for internals, if on budget, get some I beam rods and vitara pistons.... if ur going for more power then i would get H beam rods and vitara pistons. as for clutch... something stage 2 would probably be fine.
i kno what i'm saying is alil partial... i'm at work so i can't focus on typing

also what i would do is replace lil stuff like water pump, oil pump, and timing belt. in addition to rods and pistons....

you can get the block bored out alil to something like 75.5mm if ur going to bore it out... i have some srp pistons for sale for cheap
