My version of "tucking" injector clips... (3 Pics)

I know normally you're supposed to 180 the injectors and clip them from under, but I couldn't do it. I unbolted the 2x 10mm ones and pulled the fuel rail away from the injectors. I was almost to the point of pulling them off the injectors and STILL couldn't clip the clips into the injectors from underneath.

So with my small fingers, and some time, I came out with this:

you know what you need to do? get something uder the hood first. no offense but i think it is hard to clean up this bay when there is rust in it. get rid of that sitcker on the rail too. that will do a lot right there. and what you did i think will go totaly unnoticed. not to say that you are not at least trying something new

Honestly, why can't people just comment on the effort and say it turned out nice or something. For Christ's sake, I know my engine bay is dirty. You think I'm f**king blind? I don't need someone to point out to me, "That engine bay is dirty dude", or "You really need to wash that engine bay dude", or "Wow it would look so much nicer if that bay was pressure washed". I KNOW ALL OF THIS. You're completely seeing past the point of this thread. Which was to show how I attempted to get by the common way of tucking the injector clips and doing it my way since I couldn't do it the common way.

Where did I ask for opinions on how to make my engine bay look cleaner? Or for it to look better? No where. I asked for simple critique on my "tuck attempt".

You are being very much UNHELPFUL when all you say is "clean that engine bay and I'm sure it'll look much better". Thanks for completely seeing past the original point of this thread..?

Guess I'll have another mod close another thread if it continues like this... I'm honestly thinking about putting car forums behind me and going solo for everything. Maybe just browsing through but not posting. It's seriously so hard to just ask for simple comments when instead, you get people going off topic and telling you to do other things.

It all comes with the territory of posting sorry to say. Even though "they" may not post it, there are plenty of people who will see this thread and others like and be inspired to try something they didn't know how to do .
