myvery slow 98 lx build

I've been gone for a good few months since I have made my first intro due to getting things ready for my daughter to be born and weather being crappy here in Kansas.

Any who I was able to get a few things done with what I had available, and since I have several hours to burn waiting for my daughter to pop out I'll show off my lx.

98 lx sedan 5spd paid 1500
145k on body and 70k on motor
Runs and drives flawlessly except for the cluster not working so I ran out of gas in the driveway, and now I have to drop the tank flush the filter and I think it should be good again.
Has 17in sparco wheels
Crappy eBay coil overs
Few odds and ends that I've already replaced to took off.

This is how I picked it up.

Some of the stuff I've done with some of the my time

I have removed the tach after I took the picture

After I messed with the coilovers and tried to remove the decals on the fender and kinda failed

Still have stuff to do as you can see but once I get extra money after baby is born and taken care of I'm finishing up some things.

Change tails to 50/50 tails
Replace cluster with OEM one
Replace suspension
change wheels when I can afford the rpf1
Replace wire harness for engine unless I have it figured out now

That it does, sat next to a house in a field for a couple years, put a new battery in it and it started right up which surprised me. This is gonna take some time with my money tied up to my daughter after today but it shall get done some day.

Got some free time while my wife watched my daughter.
So I went and started taking the decals off and work on the electrical under the hood for the lights.

Looks so much better already

Had to go back to the halo projectors cause I don't have the little metal clips for the lights on the stock assembly

All that's left is to replace the cluster, breaks and get new suspension.

Must've been hella embarrassing driving that home o-o
I'm sure you could've found a better stock Civic out there, but best of luck on this project, looking good already!

Good job with it so far. I will admit at first I thought this was going to be a ricer build lol

only had to drive it 5 miles and it was mostly gravel, there were a few out there but not for 1500$ and 70k on motor.

things are getting slower now, my daughter was born last wednesday and weather is being difficult here in kansas lol.

Snapped this while I was getting the last little bit of adhesive off from the decals. Thought it was share worthy lol.
