N00B from the 757

Hello to all my fellow civic owners! I am a proud owner of a '91 Civic LX, and have been driving her for about 4 years now. I am currently in the process of mending a few functionality issues within the interior of the car, but I hope to soon do major work on the interior upholstery, which is very very faded.

I wanted to know if anyone who lives around the Hampton Roads area knows of any reputable, quality automotive re-upholstery companies within the area who can get my seats looking new and close to OEM spec. Any advice or guidance would be great!

Any plans to modify it or is it strictly just a daily driver?

I don't know much about upholstery but have you considered new(er AKA used) seats? It may cost just as much but again, I don't know.

Modify in what sense? the car? Well, the only major modifications I have planned for the future is a tranny swap from my current automatic to a manual, along with a higher HP D-engine swap or maybe a B-engine swap. Other than that, I want to keep everything looking original.

I have been looking at HondaPartsdeals.com, and they sell the seat covers for around $125-$150 a piece. I may buy from them, but I am continuing to weigh my options.

I just looked up your area code, and it seems like 757 is from Virginia. You might want to try posting in the Southeast section and see if anyone there can help you out. You might get better results in a local section.

My friend Wade had one that he beat to HELL and back. Literally, he ran that thing in a ditch like five times. The car looked like complete and total crap but continued to crank every day until he sold it. I still don't know who bought it lol
