has anyone on here know what the deal is on these? They have the '06 Alpine CDA-9856 and 9857 for like half the list price from Alpine and i was interested but i didnt know if there's something wrong with them, or if its illegal (like JL Audio doesnt sell over the internet and if you buy their products online they have no warrenty) or what.

k, anyone know anything about the new 9856? and what exactly the difference is between that and the 9857?
any alpine bought on e bay will have no warranty. Alpine does not support internet sales.
The 9856 is a fully equipped deck, ipod controls, ai net the works.
The 57 incorporates screen savers and i-personalize so you can set your eqs and stuff on alpines website.
Personally I would buy an alpine from a dealer
